• Sponsorship of American History Essay Contest and DAR Good Citizens Awards in Frederick County/City of Winchester schools
  
  
• Award to Clarke County High School seniors scholarships through the Salina Lewis Aylor Trust
  
  
• Award a nursing and teaching scholarship to deserving local high school seniors
  
  
• Observation of Constitution Week
  
  
• Support of and donations to DAR and American Indian schools
  
  
• Sponsor a Flag Day retirement ceremony along with the Lawrence Augustine Washington Society C.A.R., Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts
  
  
• Grave-marking of DAR patriots
  
  
• Conduct monthly genealogy workshops at the Handley Library
  
  
• Support DAR Project Patriot at the state level, as well as sending supplies to our troops serving overseas
